High Street by J. M. Richards
The first edition (Curwen Press for Country Life Ltd., 1938) in dust jacket with wood-engraved title vignette and 24 colour lithograph plates by Ravilious. Published in an edition of 2,000 copies, the original lithograph stones for High Street were destroyed by a bomb during the Blitz as was the Country Life warehouse, and it was never reprinted.
Twelfth Night, or, What You Will by William Shakespeare
Number 141 of 275 copies (Waltham Saint Lawrence, Golden Cockerel Press, 1932), wood-engraved title-vignette, borders, illustrations and decorations by Ravilious with prospectus loosely inserted, original half russet morocco over pictorial cloth by Sangorski & Sutcliffe.
